Textile people must see: teach you how to verify a good cloth

Different types of fabrics are divided into four categories: single-volume cloths that exceed a specified score should be classified as second-class products. If the average score of the entire batch of cloth exceeds the specified score level, the batch of cloth should be considered as failed.

Calculation of the score

Calculated formula

In principle, after each roll has been checked, the scores can be added. Then according to the level of acceptance to assess the level, but because of the different fabrics will have different levels of acceptance, so if the following formula is used to calculate the number of points per 100 square yards for each roll of cloth, and only need to develop a 100 square The specified score under the code can be used to assess the rating of different cloths.

(Total score x36x100)/(Number of checked codes x Cloth width that can be cropped) = Score per 100 square yards

Part 1 Woven Fabric Type Cloth Single Roll

1. Fully man-made cloth, polyester/nylon/acetic acid fabric shirt cloth spinning artificial fiber fabric worsted wool 20 points/100 square yards 16 points/100 square yards;

2. Denim Cotton Canvas Poplin/Oxford Stripe or Checkered Cotton Cloth Shirting Fabric Spinning Synthetic Fabric Fabric Wool Stripe or Checkered Fabric/Dyed Indigo Yarn All Dedicated Cloth, Jacquard Fabric/More Than Corduroy/Velvet/Stretch Denim/artificial fabric/blend 28 points/100 square yards 20 points/100 square yards;

3. Linen cloth thin cotton 40 points / 100 square yards 32 points / 100 square yards;

4. Dopione Silk / Light Silk 50 points / 100 square yards 40 points / 100 square yards;

Part 2 knitted fabric type cloth type single roll batch

1. Fully artificial cloth, polyester/nylon/acetic fiber products Rayon worsted wool blended silk 20 points/100 square yards 16 points/100 square yards;

2. Full-specialized fabrics, jacquard fabrics/multiple corduroy-spun rayon fabrics Woolen-dyed rayon yarn velvet / spandex 25 points / 100 square yards 20 points / 100 square yards;

3. Basic knitted fabric (combed cotton/blended cotton) 30 points/100 square yards 25 points/100 square yards;

4. Basic knitted fabric (cotton carded by carding machine) 40 points/100 square yards 32 points/100 square yards;

Part 3 sampling procedure

Choosing the volume to be checked is completely random selection. The textile mill needs to present the cargo packing list to the inspector when at least 80% of the rolls in a batch of fabrics have been packed. The inspector will pick the checked volume from. Once the inspector selects the to-be-checked volume, he or she must not make any further adjustments to the number of inspections or the number of volumes that have been selected for inspection. During the inspection, no number of fabrics may be taken from any volume other than the recorded and checked colors. All the cloths that were tested were graded and the scores were evaluated.

Part 4 repeated offenses

1. Any repetition and/or recurring flaws will constitute an irritant. Each point of cloth appears in the repeated defects must be punctuated by four points.

2. Regardless of the defect score, any roll with more than ten yards of cloth containing repeat offenders should be considered as unqualified.

Part 5 full width

3. Volumes containing more than four full width defects per 100 square yards may not be rated as first-class products.

4. Rolls containing more than one major defect per 10 straight yards will be rated as unqualified, regardless of the number of defects in 100 yards.

5. Any volume that contains a major defect within the first three yards or the last three yards should be considered unqualified. Significant defects will be regarded as three or four points.

6. If the fabric shows a noticeable loose or tight line on a selvedge, or if a ripple, wrinkle, crease or crease appears on the body of the fabric, these conditions cause the fabric to be uneven when the fabric is unfolded in the usual way. None of the rolls can be rated as first-class goods.

Part 6 cloth width

7. When examining a roll of cloth, check its width at least three times at the beginning, middle, and at the end. If the width of a roll of cloth is close to the specified minimum width or the width of the cloth is not uniform, the number of checks on the width of the roll must be increased.

8. If the roll width is less than the specified minimum purchase width, the roll will be rejected.

9. For woven fabrics, if the width is 1 inch wider than the specified purchase width, the roll will be rejected. However, for elastic woven fabrics, even if it is 2 inches wider than the specified width, it can be qualified. For knitted fabrics, if the width is 2 inches wider than the specified purchase width, the roll will be rejected. However, even if it is 3 inches wider than the specified width, it can be qualified as a stretch knitted fabric.

10. The overall width of the fabric refers to the distance from one outer woven edge to the other outer woven edge. The cut fabric width refers to the width measured by removing the fabric selvedge and/or the pinhole of the setting machine, the unprinted, uncoated or other untreated surface portion of the cloth body.

Part 7 color difference assessment

11. The color difference between roll and roll and batch and batch shall not be lower than the four levels in the AATCC gray scale.

12. During the cloth inspection process, 6-inch to 10-inch wide color difference cloths are taken from each roll. The inspector will use these cloths to compare the color difference in the same roll or the color difference between different rolls.

13. The inside edge of the same roll shall not be lower than the four levels of the AATCC gray scale. For the tested volume, each piece of cloth with this type of color difference will be rated as four points.

14. If the fabric being tested does not match the previously approved sample, the color difference must be less than 4-5 levels in the gray scale, otherwise the shipment will be deemed unqualified.

Part 8 roll length

15. If the actual length of the roll deviates by more than 2% from the length indicated on the label, the roll will be rejected. For a volume with a roll length deviation, the defect score is no longer assessed but it must be stated on the inspection report.

16. If the sum of the lengths of all spot-checked samples deviates by 1% or more from the length indicated on the label, the entire consignment will be determined as unacceptable.

Part 9 joint part

17. For woven fabrics, the whole roll of cloth may be made up of multiple parts, unless otherwise specified in the purchase contract. If a roll of cloth contains joints less than 40 yards in length, the roll will be determined Failed. For knitted fabrics, the whole roll of cloth can be made up of multiple parts, unless otherwise specified in the purchase contract. If a roll cloth contains a joint that weighs less than 30 pounds, the roll will be rejected as unqualified. .

Part 10 bow weft

18. For woven and knitted fabrics, all printed fabrics or striped fabrics with more than 2% bowline and skew are present; and rolls with all wick fabrics with more than 3% skew are not rated as first-class.

Part 11 askew

19. For woven fabrics, all printed and striped fabrics with more than 2% skew, and all wick fabrics with more than 3% skew are not rated as first grade.

20. For knitted fabrics, all wick fabrics and printed fabrics with a skew of more than 5% cannot be classified as first-class products.

Part 12 cloth smell

21. All smelly rolls cannot pass the test. Holes:

22. Through the flaws that cause the damage of the fabric, it should be rated as 4 points regardless of the size of the damage. One hole should include two or more broken yarns.

Part 13 feel

23. Test the feel of the cloth by comparing it with the reference sample. If there is a significant difference, the roll cloth will be rated as a second grade, with 4 points for each code. If the feel of all rolls does not reach the reference sample, the test will be suspended and no score will be assessed.
